Purpose
The SAT (Scholastic Assessment Test) is a standardized test widely used for college/university admissions in the USA and other countries. It evaluates students’ critical reading, writing, and math skills, providing a benchmark for academic readiness and success in higher education.

Exam Format
The SAT has a total duration of approximately 3 hours (without Essay) or ~3 hrs 50 mins (with optional Essay). It consists of:
Reading – 52 questions, 65 minutes: Passage-based comprehension to assess critical reading and understanding.
Writing & Language – 44 questions, 35 minutes: Tests grammar, punctuation, and editing skills through multiple-choice questions.
Math – 58 questions, 80 minutes: Includes calculator and no-calculator sections covering algebra, problem-solving, and data analysis.
Optional Essay – 50 minutes: Analyze a passage and write a structured essay (scored separately, 2–8 per dimension).

Test Mode
The SAT is offered in paper-based or digital formats at selected locations. Multiple test dates are available each year. Flyora helps candidates select the best test date, familiarize with the testing format, and practice effectively for both modes.
